Welcome to my artistic journey!
I believe that art, in all its forms, should evoke deep human emotions. My mission is to touch every heart because what comes truly from the heart will certainly resonate with others.
I was born and raised in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, where my passion for creativity ignited at a young age. At just five years old, my grandmother gifted me a book titled "Learning to Draw."
I vividly remember the intimidatingly thick, green cover that sparked a lifelong passion within me. From that moment on, I was captivated by the world of drawing.
In 2018, I felt a profound urge to transition to canvas painting. I discovered that when I sit in front of a canvas, brush in hand, time slips away as I become completely immersed in my work.
The transformation of a blank canvas into a piece that can evoke emotions in others is a spellbinding experience.
I specialize in creating art with acrylic paints, focusing on human and animal forms, as well as landscapes. My signature style blends grey tones with vibrant colors, exploring emotive and thought-provoking subjects.
On February 24, 2022, my life changed irrevocably when Russia invaded my homeland. I faced the heartbreaking decision to flee with my 12-year-old daughter. Our journey to safety took 134 days, and it is a testament to our resilience. This experience has profoundly influenced my recent artwork, as seen in my BBC interview for the RISE exhibition in Oxford.
